Herrick Library offers a wide variety of sustainability resources

Do you consider yourself a casual nature enthusiast who wants to take things up a notch? Are you curious about sustainability topics but not sure where to start?

You can dip your toes into sustainability waters with a great variety of resources at Herrick District Library – and with everything we have going on in the month of April, now’s a great time to jump in!

For the research-minded, the library has a couple of databases that might be of interest. The AGRICOLA database contains bibliographic records from the US Department of Agriculture’s National Agricultural Library, providing millions of citations relating to the field of agriculture. Often you can find full journal articles to support your agricultural research.

If you can’t find what you need in AGRICOLA, The Environment Complete database is another place to search for help on your research project, high school paper, or personal question. You can find all library databases online at our website’s Science & Nature section of the Online Resources webpage.
