ITV Britain’s Got Talent star Amanda Holden issues warning over her job

ITV Britain’s Got Talent star Amanda Holden has issued a warning to Simon Cowell. The judge on the show has told Simon nobody could ever replace her as a judge.

Amanda told the Daily Star on who could replace her if she was sick: “No one. They can just go down to a three! ” She added: “Do not forget, I came out of a coma to go back on to Britain’s Got Talent. There’s no one who is taking my seat! ”

The first episode saw Titan the Robot secure four yeses after spraying water out of its mechanical eyes, causing Holden and Alesha Dixon to hide under their desk. The judging panel – featuring Simon Cowell, Holden, Dixon and David Walliams – reunited after the show was shelved in 2021 due to the coronavirus pandemic.

Last week, Holden, 51, admitted she had become tearful during filming and described the feeling of returning to the show as “phenomenal”. She added: “When I walked into the Palladium, that iconic building, and walked on to stage, I nearly burst into tears when I saw a proper audience there for the first time in so long.

“We’ve always classed the audience as our fifth judge and part of our BGT family, and to have them missing for all that time has felt really quite sad. So it was such an overwhelming and joyful moment to see them all in front of us. And they were well up for it. It felt like they’d missed us as much as we’d missed them. “
