People on the move in the P&C insurance industry: September 23, 2022

Liberty Company Insurance Brokers announced that Marshall Heron joined as senior vice president, national real estate practice leader. He served as a strategic lead for a top 10 insurance broker in their global real estate practice.

Everest Reinsurance announced the following promotions:

  • Harald Jacobsen – senior vice president
  • Mark Wallace – vice president

Independent Insurance Agents & Brokers of America appointed Charles Symington as president & CEO. He previously served as senior vice president at Independent Insurance Agents & Brokers of America.

Ryan Specialty Holdings, Inc. announced that Waleed K. Husain joined as chief risk officer. He served as managing director and chief risk officer at JPMorgan Chase’s Consumer Community Bank.

Fusion Specialty announced the following appointments:

  • Oliver Berridge – director
  • Yinan Guo – associate

Breckenridge Insurance announced the following appointments:

  • Anthony Carroll – leader and senior vice president
  • Peggy Day – vice president of operations

National Association of Mutual Insurance Companies appointed Jake Black as board chair. He serves as president and CEO of CFM Insurance, Inc.

Risk Strategies appointed Charlie Graham as senior vice president, private client services. She led the specialty high-net-worth division at Orchid Insurance.

WTW appointed Andrew Brunero as the global head of downstream energy broking for its natural resources business. He previously served at Marsh Energy.
